How easy it is to lose the wonder! I constantly have to repent of this and seek to hunger and thirst after Him. I long to know Him more and more intimately. The words of the chorus for "Holy Spirit, Rain Down," express my heart's longing:
Holy Spirit, rain down
Let Your power fall
Let Your voice be heard
Come and change our hearts
As we stand on Your Word
Holy Spirit, rain dowon.
Holy Spirit, rain down rain down
O Comforter and Friend
How we need Your touch again.
I long for His touch again.

Pastor Ron made an awesome statement this morning: "God is not mad with us but mad for us." How astounding to know that God desires a relationship with us! Pastor Ron encouraged us to give our hearts to Jesus as Christmas
presents. The closing song reinterated the powerful call to give Him our hearts:
Lord, I give You my heart.
I give You my soul.
I live for You alone.
Every breath that I take.
Every moment I'm awake.
Lord, have Your way in me.
Today, Lord, I give You my heart.
