Pastor Ron made an awesome statement this morning: "God is not mad with us but mad for us." How astounding to know that God desires a relationship with us! Pastor Ron encouraged us to give our hearts to Jesus as Christmas presents. The closing song reiterated the powerful call to give Him our hearts:
Lord, I give You my heart.
I give You my soul.
I live for You alone.
Every breath that I take.
Every moment I'm awake.
Lord, have Your way in me.
Today, Lord, I give You my heart.

Pastor Ron has a special way of communicating "heart to heart." He has a incredible gift of edification and articulation.
"God is not mad at us but mad for us" is a catchy phrase with a powerful message.
Not only does Pastor Ron have a gift for getting to the heart of the matter, but our bulletins do also. Their beauty is phenomenal, and the statements ones to be pondered. Last week's statement adds to the thought we have been reflecting on about the wonder of God's love:
LOST IN YOUR LOVE
Is Where I Want To Be
Feeling The Beat of Your Heart
Oh God, When I'm Lost
I Can Run to You
And You'll Find Me
When I'm Lost in Your Love
I want to be one of Jesus "bosom buddies."
Pastor Ron made another great remark during this same service. It was during the altar call of the 2nd service. As he invited people to come forward, he made a notion that the altar is not just for repentance or a place of sorrow and sin; the altar is also a place to rejoice and display adoration and praise to God. I honestly think that this was a revolutionary statement related to the altar call because of the man-made ideas and “sometimes” misleading adaptations the church has had in the past.
